A nudge in the right direction

A nudge in the right direction from the right influence can be life changing. Just let it all happen without your own influence. If it is of God, it really won't need your planning just your cooporation.

I Am Waiting

While I'm Waiting by John Waller is playing right now. I have been replaying it for hours. The words burning into my spirit.

I'm waiting. I'm waiting on you Lord and I am hopeful. I'm waiting on you Lord though it is painful. But patiently I will wait. I will move ahead bold and confident taking every step in obedience. While I'm waiting, I will serve you while I'm waiting. I will worship while I'm waiting. I will not fail. I'll be running the race even while I wait. I'm waiting. I'm waiting on you Lord and I am peaceful. I'm waiting on you Lord though it's not easy. No, but faithfully I will wait. Yes, I will wait. I will move ahead bold and confident taking every step in obedience while I'm waiting. I will serve you while I'm waiting. I will worship while I'm waiting. I will not fail. I'll be running the race even while I wait. I will move ahead bold and confident. I'll be taking every step in obedience. Yeah while I'm waiting. I will serve you while I'm waiting. I will worship while I'm waiting. I will not be afraid. I will serve you while I'm waiting. I will worship while I am waiting on you Lord.

Today I am hopeful for a good wait. Yesterday, I was in a darker place. But today the light is brighter. Those of you who are patiently waiting for your miracle to manifest understand what I mean. Some days we "forget" how much the Lord loves us. Sometimes we loose our grip on the reality of the promises He has made us. Occasionally we let our grip on the hope He has given us loosen long enough for the bright light to fade just a little. Then I remember how much He loves me and how important the tasks He has given me--no matter what it looks like--He will use this situation for His good. Then my spiritual battery is charged up once more. Encourage yourself in the Lord. Have unspeakable joy in the LORD. Get up off your bed of affliction, take up your mat and walk. That has great meaning on a lot of levels. What is afficting you today? What action needs to be taken to remedy it? What kind of mess has it made in your life that needs to be cleaned up? Sweep away the ashes of discontent and open your eyes to the blessings of the Lord your God who loves you. While you wait for whatever miracle He is doing in your life, serve Him and worship Him with joy.

A New Day Is Dawning

It is 4:48 am and still dark outside but I know a new day is dawning. Soon, the sun will be up and the birds will be singing. Change is imminant and it soon. Every situation will change or stay the same. Now you are probably thinking that was great revelation. It is true. Either something will change the situation or it won't. Hope can move mountains of despair. Depression can level mountains of hope. A level playing field can result in a victory. The words of our mouths make all the difference in the game. By His stripes I am healed. He supplies all my needs in Christ Jesus. He works all things for His good. Because He first loved me. No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind imagined what He has planned for me-the one who loves Him.
I have been away too long. It is time to revisit the tent of joy.

No Coincidences Just Great Harvests

The Hebrew language is lacking two words that we have in English. One is retirement as we know it (God always has something for us to do) and one is coincidences (no coincidences-only divine providencef God).
So when I met a new friend today through a stinging situation, I knew once again He was looking out for me-turning a bad situation into one for His good.

I tend to "sew in silver linings" to most of the situations of my life. Looking for the good in people and what I am facing rather than the gloomy facts that may be staring me straight in the face. I look beyond the circumstances to the possibilities of greatness that may be harvested from it in time. That s the joy of the Lord in my life. He gives me a fresh look at life everyday.
